Cake Me Happy is back!

Hello again! I am so excited to announce that I am back to baking and Cake Me Happy's doors are again open!

Last year I very happily moved house and am now serving a new location with my floral bakes. I am now based in Willingdon / Eastbourne. Willingdon is an absolutely stunning village, with such a vibrant and happy community. We could not be happier that we can now call this village our home.

I am so excited to ease myself back into the baking world and with this in mind, I will only be taking limited amounts of orders and my opening times have changed to:

Tuesday - Friday

Saturday morning (limited collection times available)

As it's only me in this business, I want to avoid the burnout I struggled with last year and my new opening times are to help keep me at my best and also to allow me to have that all important family time at the weekends.

I still ask that you book with as much notice as possible. At least 7-10 days notice is ideal. I will no longer be accepting short notice orders under 5 days.

Times have certainly changed since last May. I have had to review my costs and sadly have had to increase my prices. You can see my updated prices within my Products page. Nobody wants to have to pay more when money is already stretched so tight, but my prices have had to increase as the price of ingredients and the living wage has increased. I am always looking to make sure I can keep costs down where I can, but to ensure you get the quality taste and experience you all desire, I use premium ingredients in all my products.

Having had some time since I last baked, it has given me time to reflect on how I previously ran my business. I always strive to give the best customer service and experience when ordering my cakes. I will no longer be making novelty cakes or cupcakes. My range will extend only to floral bakes (cardboard cake toppers can still be added to make your order more personal).

Creating contracts for each order took a considerable amount of my time, so instead I have included my terms and conditions to my website. Any orders through social media channels will be sent my T&C's in my order confirmation emails.
